1970 — Helen Frost goes missing while out for a walk. Earlier in the year she had broken up with her boyfriend and placed a child for adoption. There are many theories regarding what happened to her.
1984 — Angela Samota is murdered in her apartment. DNA surfaced in the 2000s, which helped bring charges against Donald Bess, who had been convicted of rape. He received a death sentence.
1994 — Eric Morse, 5, is murdered after a 10 and 11 year old drop him out of a high-rise building. The case brought attention to Chicago living conditions.
