1990 — Blanche Moore is on trial for the 1986 arsenic poisoning of her boyfriend, and she was also suspected in the murder of her mother-in-law and first husband. She also is suspected of trying to murder her second husband in 1989. She was sentenced to death and maintains her innocence.
2005 — Tara Correa-McMullen, an actress, is shot and killed in front of an Inglewood, California, apartment complex. She was just 16 years old and had begun dating a gang member in his 20s. Damien Watts, another gang member, was the perpetrator.
