1893 — Carter Henry Harrison Sr. is killed. He is assassinated before completing his fifth term as Chicago mayor.

1971 — Gloria Gonzales, 19, disappears from Houston, Texas. She is found deceased a month later. She was last seen near her apartment, and her remains were recovered near Addicks Reservoir. Her death is connected to the Texas Killing Fields.

1995 — Philadelphia County John Doe is discovered. The teenage boy was discovered in Fairmount Park after he was shot twice. His identity and killer remain unknown.
