Today in True Crime History: October 31

1958 — Little Miss X is found about 10 miles from the Grand Canyon. Her skeletonized remains indicate she was likely a white girl between the ages of 11 and 14. Her identity remains unknown, as does her killer.

1979 — Debra Louise Jackson, a former Jane Doe known as “Orange Socks,” is killed. Her identity remained unknown until 2019. Henry Lee Lucas was convicted of her murder, though doubt remains as to whether he killed her.

1980 — Walker County Jane Doe is discovered. She was a teenage girl with brown hair and brown or hazel eyes. Her identity remains unknown.
