1980 — Arroyo Grande Jane Doe is discovered in Henderson, Nevada. She had been killed. Her identity remains unknown.

2002 — Jay R. Smith, a former child actor from Our Gang, is found deceased after his daughter reported him missing. The 87-year-old has been stabbed and left outside Las Vegas. Charles Wayne Crombie, a new friend of Smith’s, was convicted of the crime.

2012 — Jessica Ridgeway, 10, is kidnapped from Westminster, Colorado. She is murdered by Austin Sigg. Sigg was sentenced to life in prison.
