Today in True Crime History: September 22

1902 — A family feud between the Brooks and McFarland families spins out of control, resulting in a shootout.Three are killed and another is wounded. The feud ended in October when another man was ambushed and killed.
1946 — Evelyn Dick is charged with killing her husband in Hamilton, Ontario. She was later charged with manslaughter in the death of her son, an infant.
