1995 — O.J. Simpson’s murder trial enters the closing stages.
1996 — Karyn Hearn Slover is murdered in Decatur, Illinois. She disappears while leaving work and is found two days later. In 2002, her ex-husband and former in-laws are convicted in the murder. All three are sentenced to 60 years behind bars. Dog DNA was used to secure a conviction.
