1571 — The Earl of Lennox is murdered.
2005-The Danziger Bridge shootings occur in New Orleans. A police officer had apparently shot and killed two unarmed, innocent civilians and injured four others. Some had been shot in the back. A police coverup followed. Five officers pleaded guilty to charges in 2016.
2013 — A student is killed and three others are wounded during a stabbing attack at a high school in Spring, Texas. The assailant was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
