1974 — President Gerald Ford pardons Richard Nixon for crimes committed while he was in office.

2004 — Jay Orbin is killed by his ex-wife, Marjorie Ann Orbin, in Phoenix, Arizona. Partial remains belonging to Orbin were found outside Phoenix in a plastic container weeks later. Marjorie was convicted in 2009 and sentenced to life in prison.

2005 — Jennifer Teague is murdered. The teenager from Ottawa disappeared while returning home from a shift at Wendy’s and then a meeting with friends at a convenience store. She was abducted and killed by Kevin Davis, who was sentenced to life in prison.
