1920 — Four bandits escape from a bank with $4,000 in Centralia, Oklahoma.
1971 — A prison riot at Attica Prison in New York leads to hostages. Ten hostages die and 29 inmates die.
1999 — Girly Chew Hossencofft is killed. She disappeared from Albuquerque. Her husband, Diazien Hossencofft, and his girlfriend, Linda Henning, were convicted in the murder. Her body has not been found.
2013 — Monroe Isadore, 107, is killed in a police standoff in Arkansas. He had threatened two people, including his daughter.
