1966 — Chippewa County John Doe is found in Trout Lake in Michigan. His identity remains unknown.

1974 — Ronald DeFeo Jr. murders six members of his family in their Amityville, New York, home.

1992 — Three teenage girls from Alcàsser, Spain, are abducted, tortured, and murdered after hitchhiking. Seven DNA profiles were discovered during the autopsy, but the case has not been brought to justice.
