We all know that one person who tells us that Super Cool Thing is not actually Super Cool. They’ve been there, it sucked, and you don’t need to see it. Overrated!

If you’ve read my post about one-star Yelp reviews of national parks, you know what’s coming.

The Roman Baths — Bath, England

Why even visit an old Roman bathhouse if you can’t touch the disgusting water, right? What a waste of time to visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sure, it’s Jane Austen’s former home and the site of the Royal Crescent, but the only things worth your time there are the tasty handy pies. Pulteney Bridge? Bath Abbey? No thanks.

If only there was a pretty easy way to learn why there are Roman baths in the middle of England . . . but I guess we’ll never know. At least there was ice cream nearby for this otherwise OK experience.

The Palace of Versailles — Versailles, France
