Have you ever heard a claim so outlandish you felt you just had to question it? Have you ever sought out an experience just for the sake of experience?

I certainly have a strong sense of curiosity about outlandish claims, but I also have pretty bad anxiety that makes it hard for me to handle confrontation. Thankfully, Oh No! Ross and Carrie helps fulfill that sense of curiosity.

Ross and Carrie both bring likable personalities and enthusiastic investigations to the table. They approach critical thinking with a type of grace I often don’t see in podcasts with similar themes.

On Oh No! Ross and Carrie, the titular explorers visit church services, try scary new health “treatments”, attend seminars, and otherwise take part in experiments. What do essential oils actually do? What are Scientologists really like? Who is Tony Alamo?

Of course, I do sometimes question how hurtful giving pseudoscience a platform may be. Occasionally, especially with the interview episodes, I do worry about the message these episodes send. The truth is that all opinions are not equal. Many opinions are ill-informed or not based on facts. Still, I think that Ross and Carrie are careful to refute claims and provide evidence when necessary.
